Radically Rootless

About
I’m a guy who spends way too much time in his head. I was raised behind a screen – just young enough to be a native of the digital world, but just old enough to have been there when it started. I’m a relentless consumer of art media in all forms, and the sea of narrative, lyric, and symbolism from two decades of art is my universal solvent. It’s the mediator between me and everything I engage with.
Religion has been a central theme over the course of my life, and to say I’ve had a “complicated” relationship with it would be an understatement. It’s been a pair of wings and a ball-and-chain, usually at the same time. It’s the record of my past and the ghost that haunts my thought.
Today, I live a quiet, Midwestern life, save for a bark or two. When I’m not working or filling my head with something, I can usually be found tinkering with computers, making some music, or enjoying the outdoors whenever the weather allows.
